Daniel Willcocks
AUTHOR | PUBLISHER | FOUNDER
With over a decade of experience working in and around dark fiction, Daniel has built projects across publishing, podcasting, community platforms and collaborative storytelling — all driven by a single focus: strengthening the horror ecosystem for both readers and writers.
He is the author of multiple horror novels and novellas, co-creator of the Twisted Tales series, co-found of The Other Stories podcast, and a long-time advocate for ethical publishing, human-curated discovery and community-led infrastructure. Through Devil’s Rock Books, Daniel is building a platform that connects readers with meaningful horror, supports writers with clearer access and real opportunity, and uses dark fiction as a force for real-world impact.
His work is rooted in long-term thinking, cultural stewardship and the belief that horror deserves better systems, better support and better spaces to grow.
